Last Thursday 26th of March, Milan Gocić from University of Niš presented the CERMA project and its main results at an event hosted by “Dunărea de Jos” University of Galați, as part of the Erasmus+ KA2 DIGISKILLS project. The session offered an opportunity to share CERMA’s approach to environmental hydrological risk management, curriculum modernisation and knowledge transfer with an audience engaged in digital skills and education-focused cooperation.
During the presentation, CERMA’s core mission to strengthen climate resilience by addressing hydrological risks such as floods, droughts and water scarcity through research, education and stakeholder engagement, was outlined. The presentation also highlighted the project’s collaborative structure, which brings together universities and innovation expertise across Europe to connect scientific methods with practical training and wider dissemination.
The event served as a valuable platform for exchange between projects working on education, innovation and capacity-building. Within the DIGISKILLS framework, the presentation helped position CERMA as an example of how Erasmus+ partnerships can support future-oriented learning, applied research and stronger links between higher education and societal needs.
